- Employment Practices: We go beyond the legal requirements of the non-discrimination laws and actively seek to employ and provide equal opportunity to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disability. We actively seek to hire staff with diverse backgrounds from around the world.
- Social Causes: We encourage employees to be active in social causes. Staff have a flexible time off policy which allows them to take time for social causes. Staff activities in the past range from distributing fresh produce to underserved communities, to participating in the Climate Strike with Greta Thunberg, to building a pop-up stage for an LGBTQ+ benefit.
- Pro Bono Work: Be the Change – a virtual job fair dedicated to providing people of diverse backgrounds with career opportunities in the beverage alcohol industry Rebuild Wine Country – a relief organization that raised money to support people affected by the California wildfires.
- Recycling: We recycle both bottles and corks from our tastings. We work with ReCORK, whose mission is to collect and repurpose natural cork to create environmental change. We support them by promoting this initiative to our clients and in our office. In 2019, we donated over 10,000 corks to the organization!
- Reuse and Reduce: We reuse event materials that are too often considered disposable in the events industry. We reuse shipping materials as well and since we receive and ship wine every day, this has an enormous environmental impact. We actively recycle all of our office materials and discourage printing as much as possible.
- Supporting our Community And, whenever appropriate, we seek out and introduce clients to participate in and support social causes like Wheeling Forward, a charity run by Yannick Benjamin that helps people with disabilities meet their short and long-term goals by providing advocacy, mentorship and support service
