OPEN POSITION:  Trade Marketing Specialist
 
JOB LOCATION: New York City, NY
 
SALARY RANGE: $73,000 – $73,000 per year
 
DUTIES: 
 
Participate in all aspects of trade marketing campaigns, event planning, new business proposals, and integrated branding and sales promotion campaigns for wine and spirit industry. Multitask strategically across multiple accounts and handle day to day activities on each account, fielding requests from clients, trade, and managers alike. Organize client meetings from start to finish, initiating every call and meeting with clear objectives and follow-up with action items. Create new business proposals, including compilation of company research, competitive landscaping, and contribution to strategy development. Work on trade projects from conception to execution and make sure that deadlines are met and within budget and ensure that key milestones are on track. Contribute to team brainstorms and develop innovative marketing campaigns for clients.
 
Thoughtfully counsel clients based on the broad trade marketing landscape and business goals; take immediate action on client feedback, understanding and anticipating their needs. Recruit and coordinate with importers, wine & spirits retailers, and restaurants for participation in integrated marketing programs, events and sales promotions. Identify local market intelligence and opportunities consumer shifts/trends, channel dynamics, key account dynamics, etc. in the wine and spirits industry. 

Part time local telecommuting is permitted.

REQUIREMENTS:

3 years of experience in the Wine & Spirits industry with trade marketing campaigns including 360 marketing plans, copywriting (social media content calendars, POS, client presentations), and coordinating with wine importers, distributors, retailers, and restaurants.
